Brushing teeth at least twice a day
Our mouth is full of bacteria that may cause cavities, brushing our teeth with a fluoride toothpaste helps prevent the formation of plaque and cavities. Don’t forget to clean your tongue also since they can be hiding places for bacteria too. For your convenience you may use a toothbrush with built-in tongue cleaner which are available in the market.

Using the right tools for brushing
Use toothbrushes that would best suit your teeth and choose the right fluoride toothpaste that can give you maximum protection. Various brushes are available to make sure that brushing is fun for you and your kids. Remember to use only a pea-size amount of toothpaste when brushing.

Flossing daily
There are tight areas between our teeth that toothbrushes can’t reach. Flossing removes plaque from between the teeth and under the gum line and prevents tartar build-up.

Eating a Proper diet
Limit your intake of starchy or sugary food, they produce plaque acids that cause tooth decay. If you can’t resist pastries or chocolates, It’s best to take them with meals instead of snacking on them.

Going to Dental check-ups
Visit your dentist at least once or twice a year. Nothing beats professional cleaning in preventing cavities.
