Ice skating is one of our favorite outdoor winter activity…second to snowboarding. Except for this year we would go every Thursday to the ice skating rink in the 22nd district and spend an hour learning tricks and moves – for the little girl that’s figure skating while it’s hockey for son1, little boy still goes with the smaller group who learns to glide and move about.
Above was during our night-out ice skating at the outdoor ring in Vienna’s Ice Skating Club. The cold didn’t stop us from enjoying the ice. Below is one of the many sessions they had at the Albert Schutz Hall. Little boy was around 4 in here (last year) and though he started learning at 3, he’s always been a bit hesitant to move about.
